Our Story

Green Monkey AV was founded in 2002 by our CEO and Technical director Graham Mitchell.

Graham originally trained as an engineer in Preston, Lancashire. After completing an apprenticeship discovered a passion for all things AV.

He started out his AV journey working for German company Leisegang. At the cutting edge of Technology of the day - the very first in data projectors.

After a number of years in the industry, learning everything there was to know about AV and presentation products; from the simple "nobo-board" to the latest  technology, Graham founded Green Monkey AV to bring his wealth of experience and passion for AV to the NorthWest.

We often get asked:

"Why are you called Green Monkey?"

Well, that story is top secret... All we can tell you is that involves a skiing holiday, a rather large amount of Austrian beer, and a flash of inspiration!

Since 2002 Green Monkey has gone from strength to strength, adapting with changes in industry to become the versatile business it is today, offering unrivalled service to our clients. We design, integrate and support blended technology solutions to match the specific needs and budgets of our clients. Demystifying technical AV products to the tailored needs of each individual request.

We are still a small, family-run business with a strong ethos of putting our customers first. However, we have delivered millions of pounds of AV projects into corporate, public sector, education and retail clients.

Whilst we do offer nationwide services, the majority of our clients are based in the Northwest & Midlands. We are passionate to bring the latest in technology to our local communities.
